What it does
Expense categories
Expenses are grouped into five categories: port, fuel, maintenance, insurance, extra. An invoice attached to the job it pays for counts only once, as maintenance; for other invoices you pick the category, suggested by the scan.
Cost per mile
KLABBY computes how much each nautical mile costs you: the year's total expenses divided by the miles sailed.
Knowledge Base benchmark
For each technical area (engine, hull, sails…) the system shows the average yard cost from the Knowledge Base cards and compares it with what you spent on jobs this year.
Co-ownership-aware
Expenses split per co-ownership rules: fixed by share, variable by usage days. Clean statement per member.
